When did blogs become such an important aspect of our society? There are professional bloggers who simply go to Political rally’s and campaign trails and write their thoughts. Granted, their thoughts are worth a lot more than mine at this point, but maybe that will change. Besides, whats to say that I don’t have something important to say, just like them. Maybe thats why I decided to start this blog…maybe this is my way of telling all of those pompous political bloggers that I can do this just as well as you. But bloggers aren’t just seen in politics. My god, they’re in music, film, sports…even Dave Barry has one. And Matt Leinart, too.

Is it trendy or a necessity of today’s online world to convey thoughts over a webpage? I never understood the concept of a “live journal”. Isn’t a journal supposed to be something you keep your darkest secrets in? Why would you share that with millions of people on the internet? Unless, of course, you wanted to share it.

I suppose this post will set a tone for the future ones: informal rambling about my views on everything. This is my voice, extended to the heartless and faceless crowds.
